What just happened....

is exactly what i have been saying to myself after the 10 hours of rehearsal. Eight hours of dance and two hours of environmental training.REALLY? i think everyone's mind was about to explode into 871746593748652784365 pieces. but it's only a matter of time before we're on the ship. just 9 more days!!! ahh crazzzzzy! but anyway RECAP of the week:
- Some of the girls and i went to the Getty museum! it was really nice but HUGE. we were tired but that didnt stop us from going to Hollywood and walking around. It was about time we just had a day to ourselves, bond and relax. We were there during the movie premiere of Legends of The Guardians. Vanessa Hudgens, Sam Niell, Jim Sturgess, Russell Brand and a few other celebs were there. That was really cool. Then we got back and just hung out. But of course we have rehearsal the next day. Rehearsals have been crazy. We are learning our last show..it's called On The Air and it's kinda like American BandStand...alot of 50s 60s and 70s music. It's alot of fun but somethings are just frustrating. but we'll be done soon. Today was one of those days where we all just wanted to cry. But our cast is very supportive and understanding and we will all help eachother out. Well everyone is in the hot tub and i just wanna go to sleep after i go over and rehearse WHAT JUST HAPPENED today. haha

Gold is now done!!!!

Hey Yall,

So it has been a week and a half and now we are finally DONE with ONE of our 4 or 5 shows. Rehearsals are intense.period. Ive met such great people in the company and on other ships like matt, ian and their cast and the other casts rehearsing at the studio. theyre all on the different ships. This business is great but hard. i know ill get through it. Im really lucky to have such great castmates.So much information but our cast is great and we will definitely get it great and be so fierce on the Maasdam ship. This is definitely a new experience with new people and new styles of dance thrown at me. i have had a couple breakdowns already but my cast is amazing and really supportive. Cole is a fierce diva and definitely looks out for everyone, especially me. i freaking love him. Emily is omg such an amazing friend. She's definitely the one i can talk to about anything with. Jen is so flipppin sweet and an incredible dancer. Tim is sooooooo funny and definitely gives me a lot of life wisdoms...i guess you can say.haha Alexa is great to turn to when i ever need any help with anything. she knows how to handle things which is very helpful :) Joey is so chill. He's so cute and sweet.... such a nice guy and definitely someone i can always turn to! Joanna is my mommy here. she's actually on the ship now because she's a replacement for another singer. she is fabulous and i love how determined she was to remember all the shows in such a short amount of time. Nick is our male singer. and wow he's sooo talented. he's such a nice guy and he definitely gets along with everyone. Katie was our singer/dancer and she is soo cute and sweet. she made dinner for us a couple nights which i must say was super tasty. im gonna miss her! We are going to have a new castmate named jackie and i cant wait to meet her! it's going to be a great 8 months with these crazy people. we start a new show called World Beat tomorrow which is alot of songs and dances from around the world. it is one of the hardest shows especially one of the dances which is Bollywood. im excited to learn but i know it's very hard and intricate. but anyway...i have to go get the laundry out of the dryer asap. and wow i look horrible in the video above this. oh well. ill blog again later.

LA lifestyle.

So i am finally in Los Angeles!!!!!! it's been about 2 days and so far i have had a blast!!! The whole cast is so nice and so much fun to be around! We went grocery shopping and poor cole made two trips because we had so much food. We had orientation today in order to get to know the company a lot better. We also found out we get to be in a music video!!!!! It's being shot in Las Vegas and we all get to be in it! What...a surprise. The apartment complex is nice...we have a pool..but apparently we need wristbands. oh well. We start rehearsals tomorrow and that's from 10am to 6pm. let the work begin. anyway....ive been so busy here. we dont get internet in our apartment..we have to go to the clubhouse...so i wont be on as much. but il try my best to keep yall updated on stuff here :) but YALL need to keep me updated on stuff there!!! Well im tired an we have rehearsal tomorrow. ill talk to yall later. OH and the whole cast gets on me with my southern accent. haha. oh well what can i say im a G.R.I.T.S.

Last Week in Charleston

Hey guys,

So i doubt anyone is really gonna read this but it's good for the soul, right? BUT A bunch of you guys asked me to blog or keep a journal so hear you go :) But anyway, its my last week in charleston before i start the dream job. Its crazy that this opportunity actually happened to me because i remember sitting in my dorm room with my friends and just wishing that i got the call to dance and cruise around the world....and 8 months later..I'm debating which shoes to put in my suitcase. Now that it's finally here...so much has been going through my mind...and I'm just getting really excited but nervous at the same time. I'm gonna miss sooooo many people. A lot can happen in 8 months...things can change or stay the same...i just hope it's for the good. I will probably start blogging more than facebook. but anyway, I am really excited to see what the future holds for me. I think this opportunity came at the right time because it was about time i really grow up and see what my life has in store for me. I'm already looking forward to coming back in April and going back to Winthrop...but until then I will be living the dance dream and making everyone proud. Anyway, I will blog a lot more later. Until then...
