The past week.

Hey guys!

Weekly update:

So i have been out alot. not just school and work but OUT. I went downtown last friday with Abigail (the best friend) and we had quite the night. We went to a play at CofC then we ate at Kicken Chicken. Food was good as always. Then we went to Pantheon...a gay club..and.......the only place you can get into if you're 18 and up. I just turned twenty so one more year to go! anyway...our guy friend Price came with us and we had a great time. Although we all did get hit on by boys and girls...AWKWARD. Abigail got some digits and i was chillen. hah. but turned out to be a good night out.

I went to see CHICAGO at the dockstreet theatre and my girl Megan was fierce in it! everyone needs to go see it! I went with my friend DJ and after the show.. we walked back to my car but on the way we saw so many ghost tours around and decided to stop in for a little.haha

That was pretty much my weekend.

Labor day was yesterday...and yes i still had school.sadface. oh well. but i did get to hangout with this really great guy...after getting myself lost around downtown and having to ask directions from strangers. yes, i was embarASSed. I thought i grew up in Charleston....guess not.

Anyway, that's it for now. I should start being studious again..

Just venting

Hey guys!

Time to update on the present...my last blog was all about what had happened in the last 8 months but now it's time for the more recent shet.hahaha

ANYWAY....i am supposed to be writing a paper and studying for a spanish quiz...yeah obviously that's not happening if im writing this.

WELCOME BACK TO COLLEGE MONICA.

i hate it. im tired all the time. im working right after school. im writing paper after paper and studying for tests and quizzes. I am about to explode. Obviously it's back to the real world. I now attend College of Charleston and it's growing on me. I do miss all my Winthrop friends though. My professors are really cool though but the workload is insane. and i guess this is the place to vent so here it goes...WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE?

i just got back from the ship and yes im going to school but for what? ive changed my major 3 times and taking hard ass classes that idk if i even need.

TRUTH IS: it's a lot of pressure trying to explain your future to EVERYONE who asks. and people ask me ALL day every day..."So what are you doing now??"

Being who i am, i try to over achieve but now i dont know what im trying to over achieve and it freaks me the fack out. I always have a plan...but for once in my life i dont. and im scurd. YES SCURD. I take jobs, school work, extra credit stuff that i think i can do but end up tiring me out.

Dance is still a huge part of my life but let's be smart now.That, just in case something happens scenario that every adult tells me. I need a back up. and right now I am still trying to find out what that is. and ill let you know when i find out.

Back home after 8 months gone!

SO sorry it has been ages since ive updated my blog...but ill try to be more into it now that im actually back at home for a little. But before I update on the present, I just wanted to talk about my experience on the Maasdam!

I wanna start out by saying that i LOVE my cast members. I said this at our final cast awards and i'll say it again. THANK YOU...for helping me grow up. I came into this contract a scared little girl hoping to just keep the job...and you guys helped my grow into a more determined and confident lady and embrace every opportunity that comes knocking. Thanks for being such an amazing family and i love all of you so much.

With ship life itself, i absolutely loved waking up in a different country almost every day. Never in my wildest dreams would i ever thought i would ever get the chance to do that. Everyone always asks what my favorite place to visit was...and honestly each country/island had it's own special memory for me. I went ziplining in St.Lucia , hung out in Montreal, swam with dolphins, river rafting in Dominica, visited Italy's Consul's Mansion in St.Kitts and actually got to chill/swim in their infinity pool. It was crazy. I enjoyed every moment.

Shoutout to all the friends i made. I am so lucky to meet a bunch of people from all over the world. From England to the Philippines to Australia...i miss you guys. Thanks for a great time on the ship.

Not to forget the reason i was there in the first place.Dance. The production shows were amazing and so lucky to be a part of them. The lights, the set, the stage was surreal for me. Except for some occasional seasickness and rockiness...everyone puts their heart in the show which made it that much more spectacular. Thanks to Stiletto Entertainment for giving me a chance and constructing amazing shows!

Well, that pretty much sums up the whole 8 months. Hope you guys enjoyed reading this as much as i enjoyed writing this. Brings back wonderful memories. Ill keep you guys updated on the next adventure! Check back for the next blog which will prolly be in like 30 minutes.lol. I started college again so that's its own adventure!
